Swordsmanship Mastery
Called Swords in the mastery window. A bleed-and-counter mastery: your hits open wounds that tick damage on their own, and you gain a chance to evade creature attacks outright. See Skill Masteries for the system itself.
| Requires | Swordsmanship at 90.0 |
| Taught by | Weaponsmith, Blacksmith — 10,000 gold |
| Ultimate | Bloodbath |
Perks
| Perk | Effect per level | At level 8 |
|---|---|---|
| Bleed Infliction | 2% chance on hit to open a bleed | 16% chance |
| Dodge | 2% chance to evade a creature's attack | 16% chance |
| Wound Strike (template) | +10% damage against bleeding targets | +80% damage |
Bleed Infliction deals 15 damage every 3 seconds for 10 ticks — 150 total, independent of your weapon. It does not stack with itself.
Dodge works against creatures only. If the attacker is in melee range you also counter-attack; a dodged ranged attack is simply evaded with no counter.
Wound Strike only pays out while the target is actually bleeding, so it is worth taking Bleed Infliction alongside it — the two perks are designed as a pair.
Ultimate — Bloodbath
Fires on a melee hit at 0.5% per proc level (4% at level 8). Applies the bleed to every creature within 6 tiles at 30 damage per tick for 10 ticks — 300 damage each. Like every ultimate, it also fully heals you.
