Stats shown are for the wild creature — on taming, stats are reduced, then grow well past the original through levelling .
Remember: each previous owner adds +6.0 to the required taming skill, and controlling a pet also requires Animal Lore at 80% of the taming requirement (common mounts and pack animals excepted — see Animal Taming ).

Some classic tamables (e.g. White Wyrm, Unicorn, Ki-rin) are not available on UO Sagas, and a few creatures only appear during events or seasons.
Creatures marked as dungeon dwellers must usually be fought down and may need to be subdued (below 10% health) before taming.
