Adena

Every new character starts on Adena, the new-player island. It is heavily protected:

• Guards protect everyone, and players cannot attack each other here.
• Stealing and snooping are disabled.
• Skills only gain up to 70.0 while you are on the island — after that, it's time to move on.
• Housing cannot be placed anywhere on Adena.

Adena has its own inn and moongate, and vendors here will trade with Young players. The nearby Caverns of Adena are a matching beginner dungeon. Once your skills pass the island's cap, take the moongate to the mainland.
