Woodland Armor
Woodland Armor is a craftable medium armor set built by carpenters from logs and hardened resin. It sits between leaf and daemon armor: solid protection with moderate Dexterity penalties. The set consists of six pieces: chest (male and female versions), arms, leggings, gloves and gorget.
Crafted with Carpentry at 80 – 115, from logs and hardened resin. Every piece is gated behind a learned recipe.

"Armor added" is the piece's contribution to your total armor rating at regular quality — and your total armor rating is roughly the percentage of each physical hit your suit absorbs (see Weapons); exceptional pieces protect about 15% more. Note the unusually high Strength requirements on the arms and gloves. Woodland armor counts fully against your passive mana regeneration, so mages should look at Leaf Armor instead.
How to unlock the recipes
- Read the Book of Woodland Armor Crafting. The Exiled DeepGuard Armorer NPC offers the quest Gathering Hardened Resin: bring him 100 hardened resin within one day to receive the book. The quest resets daily, so a failed attempt can be retried.
- Learn the recipe for each piece. Every piece has its own recipe scroll (olive-hued), found among the rewards of champion spawns. The book must be read before a woodland armor recipe scroll can be used.
Crafting requires 80 Carpentry, with success improving up to 115 skill.
Getting hardened resin
Hardened resin drops from Deep Guard creatures — the warriors, mages, archers, defenders and priests found in the Hydros dungeon. Stronger Deep Guards drop resin more often and in larger stacks. See Resources for other special crafting materials.
Notes
- The Woodland Boots and Woodland Belt sometimes seen with this outfit are plain clothing, not armor — the boots are sold by the Vault of Eren vendor.
- All pieces are fully tradable and can be repaired by a carpenter.
