Leaf Armor

Leaf Armor is a craftable light armor set sewn by tailors from leather and enchanted bark. It carries no Dexterity penalty and — like regular leather — does not slow your passive mana regeneration, making it the go-to special set for mages and hybrid characters.

Crafted with Tailoring at 80 – 110, from leather and enchanted bark. Every piece is gated behind a learned recipe.

"Armor added" is the piece's contribution to your total armor rating at regular quality — and your total armor rating is roughly the percentage of each physical hit your suit absorbs (see Weapons); exceptional pieces protect about 15% more. The tonlet is an alternative leg piece with a skirt-like look.

How to unlock the recipes

  1. Read the Book of Leaf Armor Crafting. The Exiled Mirefolk Armorer NPC offers the quest Gathering Enchanted Bark: bring him 100 enchanted bark within one day to receive the book. The quest resets daily, so a failed attempt can be retried.
  2. Learn the recipe for each piece. Every piece has its own recipe scroll (green-hued), found among the rewards of champion spawns. The book must be read before a leaf armor recipe scroll can be used.

Crafting requires 80 Tailoring, with success improving up to 110 skill.

Getting enchanted bark

Enchanted bark drops from Mirefolk creatures — the swamp-dwelling folk found in the deeper levels of the Darkness dungeon. Stronger Mirefolk drop bark more often and in larger stacks. See Resources for other special crafting materials.
